Taiwanese pianist Wanching Liu performs as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Asia. She has been heard in New York, Washington DC, Baltimore (MD), College Park (MD), Brunswick (ME), Beijing and Taipei.
Wanching has been invited to participate in Bowdoin International Music Festival (ME) and International Keyboard Institute & Festival (NY). She has performed in master classes and coaching sessions with world-renowned musicians such as Martin Canin, Yury Aryapetyan, Alon Goldstein, Dmitry Rachmanov, Emerson String Quartet, Borromeo String Quartet and Ying Quartet. Wanching achieved her Master Degree and Graduate Performance Diploma under the guidance of Alexander Shtarkman at Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Music Performance from National Taiwan Normal University. She is a recipient of Taiwanese American Charity and Education Scholarship in 2014.
Wanching is currently pursing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Maryland with Larissa Dedova.
